Good evening. I followed the instructions to the letter but unfortunately I cannot select a quality preset in the sol config. nothing happens if I click on low , medium high or ultra. no impact on the visual aspect. Do you have an idea? of course I tried to reinstall but nothing to do. thank you for your help and sorry for my poor english, being french

Great mod and absolute essential for AC. Just a shame that Racedepartment is only allowing me to download at 65kb/s even though my internet is 250MB/s and not currently under any load

Sol is an absolute must need for AC, it brings life to the game.

However, a month ago an issue suddenly appeared with rain/ moisture effects no longer appearing. After reinstalling both Sol and the latest lights patch, I still get the error of "Can't run weather script, with the exception always at tyre_smoke.lua:(6,0-48): ." This issue has already been mentioned in the discussion tab, however, it hasn't been resolved. It would be great if there were some suggestions for fixing this. Thanks!

Hello,
To avoid this error, please deactivate the extented weather functions in CM's Drive settings, like it is described in the install guide on page 18! This are functions which were important for older weather mods like gbwSuite. But now they are obsolete.

Download button is red instead of green and SOL doesnt show up in the controller script menu of weather fx. Anyone have any idea why?

I just can't imagine how you've achieved this, it's a marvel. Thanks for the countless hours you've no doubt poured into this. It takes the realism to another level, particularly in VR.

This mod is nothing short of miraculous. Peter is a wizard who has helped breathe life into assetto corsa. It is so much fun to set time and weather to random. And the lightning storms in vr... just wow!
Of course you need the rain to make it complete , so getting CSP is a no brainer. Im happy paying someone $1 for amazing work that i couldn't possibly do myself. Trust me, its absolutely worth it to pay a few bucks for weather, rain, and physics in a racing game.
And remember to be cool to your moders. They do amazing things for you and often for free. Chip in once in a while, you cheap f#%ks!

When I use SOL 2.2.2, the weather rendering script selects 2.2.2 and my filter adjustment page does not work! Brightness adjustments and many others are invalid, not working after deleting my documents folder, reinstalling csps does not work, I need help!!!

If such parameters are changed by a ppfilter script, then those are no more editable. It varies from script to script, which parameters are accessed. If you use the normal _Sol Ppfilter, the most of those parameters are not accessed.

WOW! the graphics look amazing, i know SOL doesnt have weather, and that i have to download CSP for that, but will SOL work without buying CSP?

You need to buy CSP, if you want to have rain graphics and physics. Sol itself provides all other weather effects.

As amazing this mod is, it is nowhere near as amazing as the dedication of his author, taking the time to respond to each and every idiotic reviews, from blackmailing to complains on things that are not part of the mod, not even made by him. And for that, top of my hat to you, sir.

And yes, using CSP and Sol since wut, forever, everyday as a basic nearly makes you forget that it wasn't part of the game at first, it is all made by some dudes, probably at home, for free. I love modding. Thank you forever, Peter!
