Really amazing. I've always loved the lighting FX in AC but obviously they were quite limited. I used to just use the azimuth etc controls in replay mode to fine tune lighting but this amazing mod takes it to a WHOLE new level and it's made me love AC again.

I also wanted to always make a really high res amazing cinematic style video with Assetto but kept putting it off. Now I have a 2080 with this mod I have to do it and the options are so much more vast now.

***If anyone can give any advice on getting this mod to run with the Lake Louise mod I would be grateful! It runs great on everything but crashes with LL 2.08 and I think that would be the absolute best map for this mod. Still 5* though! Thank you again!***

Absolutely amazing work, the plugins now adding much easier usability. i'm now able to get night time looking dark & sunshine looking warmer in VR as this was the only other issue i had with previous versions. Thank you so much for the awesome work put into this.

Please read the install guide and install the track light configs from github. And please use the support section to ask for help, not the rating section....

Open C:\Users\XXXXXXX\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\gameplay.ini

and put those 2 lines in it:
[PYTHON]
ENABLE_PYTHON=1

If this is missing, AC + Sol will crash!

Sol is a labour of love and a wonderful gift to Assetto Corsa players. It improves and expands the game's functions, making it easy to set up a race and save the starting rules, grids and weather conditions for next time, or to change them with a click of a button. Its clever programming squeezes the utmost performance out of Assetto Corsa and my PC. As for the graphics, there have been numerous times when the beautiful and atmospheric lighting has made my jaw drop like a broken front splitter.

A word of warning: pay close attention to the installation procedures. If you're nervous about installing this mod, @peterboese is very active on RaceDepartment and in the Sol Discord, patiently answering queries. If you play AC, install Sol; it's that good. Don't forget to donate, review or say thank you. :)

Pretty much an absolute must have for Assetto Corsa. Completely transforms the weather and lighting in the game, with spectacular results. And it looks superb at all times of day and in all weather conditions. Truly fantastic work!!
