Ai is fast and quite challenging to race against, copse is a bit slow for f1 cars so i turned the ai hint for that corner up to 1.2 and it seemed to work

Thanks for the review! I try to keep the hints values down so low downforce cars don't drive too erratic. That's the magic of the hints file though, you can edit it for particular cars. A good CM/CSP update would be an option to choose from various different hint files for each track now that I think about it..
