Sepang International Circuit (acu_sepang) + Pyyer's Ext AI 1.1

Description

Here's my AI racing lines and hints for the Sepang International Circuit. The AI is moderately fast, prioritizing smooth exits to help them carry speed. I watched Hamilton's 2017 pole lap for inspo, though I had to adjust the line to make the AI comply in places, especially at Turns 2 and 5-6.



It's not perfect; the AI doesn't quite take Turn 6 as smoothly as I want them to, but makes up in the other corners. Rain will likely cause havoc. On my trials, it was quite difficult to keep up - my tires overheat and I lock up way too much. Which is a good thing...?

Note: These AI lines may not work for future versions.

How to Install

1. (Optional) Backup the existing AI files by renaming them with a .bak extension. (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks\acu_sepang\ai\ or\acu_sepang\layout_name\ai\)
2. Delete any pre-existing payloads.bin files in the "ai" folder.
3. Go back one directory up and go into the "data" folder (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks\acu_sepang\data\ or \acu_sepang\layout_name\data\)
4. Rename the existing side_l.csv and side_r.csv with a ".bak" extension - this is to prevent AC from overwriting the pre-baked sidelines.
5. Extract the contents of the .7zip file.
6. Copy the "content" folder and paste it into your AC installation folder (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa).
7. Replace files when requested.

You do not have to press Shift during loading - the sidelines I defined should already be baked into the .ai files.

I have faded memories of going to the circuit when I was much younger. Wasn't an F1 weekend though, but being there, the sense of scale was amazing. We watched some track day cars zoom about.
