This modification uses GUI real names conversion and icons made by RufGTI for the first 5 cars, found in RSS GT1 - Real UI names.
Real names based on above package, I have added the option to stack the cars to the RSS brand or original car manufacturer and added the last car. All UI files is also based on the latest version from RSS. Lister and Dodge logo have been edit for better visibility and the car brand have been added to loading screens.
The package contains 4 files:
rss_gt_ui_real_names_rss_brand -> changes the GUI names, uses RSS brand
rss_gt_ui_real_names_car_brand -> as above, uses manufacturer brand
rss_gt_data_real_names -> changes the in-game names
rss_gt_data_default -> restores to default in-game names
During loading the brand logo is shown, the correct name is only shown if rss_gt_data_real_names fix is applied:
This will also show short variant of real car names in-game:
If you apply the rss_gt_data_real_names fix you will get an checksum error entering multiplayer unless the server is using this fix as well. To enter an multiplayer server using vanilla content, apply the rss_gt_data_default fix before entering the server. Restart of AC not needed.
Note, this version of rss_gt_data_real_names fix should only be applied on RSS GT Pack v6.
