Looks like there's a bug that prevents the patch from loading textures whose directories contain "\r", so the solution for now is to change the texture file name and directory.
If you're using this version of CSP (natürlich, not recommended), you can download this update, extract "extension" in RSS_Tyre_Colour_Config_CSP_0.1.35.7z, into ac's root folder (you'll overwrite the config files).
Basically if you've got it working already then there's no need to download this update.
To simplify the installation I decided to stop placing .ini files in "Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\extension\cars" as ac's extension folder now has a lower-priority "loaded" folder.
Now the installation is just a one-time copy.
Just copy the extension folder to accettocorsa's root folder.
Also I deleted .ini files' included "common/f1_tyre_damage.ini" as CC mentioned (I thought it would be overwritten by the settings in the .ini file but no) to make sure the configs're really in accordance with RSS's official configs, with the only difference being the Pirelly textures.
Also I added RSS3's Pirelli tyre textures and config by @formulaHEINE if you want one-time installation for all.
Only added one .ini file, others unchanged.
Added Formula Hybrid 2019 to use Pirelli textures.
Based on the config in the discord from CC (rather than Github), changed the textures used.
C1 C2 white
C3 yellow
C4 C5 red
If you want a pink C5, purple C4, red C3, yellow C2 and white C1, it's on https://github.com/ac-custom-shader...fig/cars/mods/rss/rss_formula_hybrid_2019.ini
For last version (1.02) user you DON'T NEED to download the update. Just change the content of rss_formula_rss_2_v6.ini,
from
toCode:[INCLUDE] INCLUDE=rss_formula_rss_2_v8.ini
This will let RSS 2 V6 use davewilliams00's textures which have textures on both sides of the rear tires, istead of FormulaHEINE's RSS2 V8 textures that have textures only on the outside of rear tires of RSS 2 V8 (and on the left sides of rear tires of RSS 2 V6).Code:[INCLUDE] INCLUDE=rss_formula_hybrid_2017.ini
So FormulaHEINE's textures will still be used for RSS V8 2017 because F2 2017's Pirelli tires had textures only on the outside of rear tires If I didn't make it wrong.
I packed all textures into zip files which the latest preview versions of Shaders Patch - Dynamic Light could load directly from, but not supported by 0.1.22 so I included the new preview version of Shaders Patch - Dynamic Light released half an hour ago.
You may have to delete old version first
- 2018 Formula RSS 2 V6 added.
- Textures now packed into zip. Extract the .zip files to assettocorsa\extension\textures\cars\rss
***NOTE***
The latest preview versions of Shaders Patch 0.1.23 has included already the .ini files for Formula Hybrid 2018, which I'm not gonna use, so all the .ini files should be extract to Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\extension\cars (or its sub folders if you like). If you want to extract the ini files to assettocorsa\extension\config\cars (or its sub folders if you like) you may have to delete the originally included rss_formula_hybrid_2018.ini and rss_formula_hybrid_2018_s1.ini in assettocorsa\extension\config\cars\mods\rss first.
