This is my skin for the Mclaren M26 as used in 1978. I was unhappy with the current best Mclaren skin so I decided to make my own.
The car was driven by James Hunt and Patrick Tambay, scoring just one podium between them.
It was quite a challenge to recreate the famous dayglo colour used on the 70s Mclarens, however I feel I have a nice balance here.
Helmets:
blackcelica - James Hunt (http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/formula-79-helmets.16609/)
Marco17_ok - Patrick Tambay (edited) (http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/rss-forumla-79-helmet-pack.16555/)
You do not need either of these to use this mod.
DISCLAIMER: Please please please do not take things to use in your own work without asking. I am happy to help people to do certain things if they ask or use some of my assets but I really do not like when people take things and do not tell me! I do not permit the redistribution of this skin on other sites.
I am also, with this skin, starting a short break from skinning. I don't want to burn myself out on it, and it's not quite as enjoyable as it first was, so It's time to stop spamming out liveries break could last anywhere from a day to a week or two.
Enjoy!
