So here it is. My first Assetto Corsa "mod" attempt!

I feel like Roland is somewhat glossed over when it comes to that fateful weekend at Imola in 1994.
So now, more than 25 years after the accident, I've decided to fill a gap in the AC Mods community by giving my creative skills a shot and making Roland's Helmet for use in Assetto Corsa.

I'm not a graphic designer by any stretch of the imagination
so please see this as a skin from a guy who would just like to pay tribute to someone as opposed to a professionally tailored mod!

This mod is designed to be used in conjunction with the incredible "ACFL 1994" mod pack. You can find a link to this mod here: https://www.***********/produit/acfl-f1-1994-v1-2/

If you do enjoy this helmet then I'd appreciate it if you could leave a good rating! Although it is very simple, I love Roland's design so I may attempt to make one of his other iterations in the future!

Here's a preview of the mod from my YouTube Channel (SUBSCRIBE) :giggle: :

Installation:

To install, first download the zip folder containing the files; "HELMET_1985.dds" and "HELMET_1985_Glass.dds". Once this has been completed, copy these files into your Assetto Corsa game folder. This will look something like this:

?:\steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\acfl_1994_simtek\skins\JGunon\

Replace any files that explorer tells you and voila! You should now be able to use Roland's helmet in Assetto Corsa! :)

Thanks for taking the time to view this mod! :D

Rest In Peace, Roland & Ayrton.
