This track would not load properly in Assetto Corsa ver 1.0. I sure love Road America, though, and Road Atlanta for that matter.

not bad, better than the other one that's on here...but what's the deal with that red blinking light on that tower?? it messes me up! lol

Road America is one of North Americas premier tracks at just over 4 miles. This track is challenging, fun and fast. From the first turn to the up hill front straight you have to concentrate on every turn. There are three turns where you can over take and only one is forgiving if you over drive it, and expect to loose several positions if you do. Turn 3 is tempting and a good driver can pull it off if you are trying to over take a driver who isn't capable although you're better off trying an over/under. Turn 5 is where most of the over taking will take place. From turn 3 to turn 5 is the fastest part of the track with a slight down hill run to an 90 degree turn if you can get the inside line and out brake your opponent and not over shoot the corner they will have no choice but to give you the spot. Turn 5 is the first and best place to over take. Turn 8 is the second most popular corner for overtaking and when completed properly you will leave your opponent wonder how they will keep up heading in to the carousal which is a balls to the walls flat out right turn. Turn 12 or better known as Canada Corner is again a tempting corner although don't over shoot it you'll wind up in the gravel wishing you had waited to turn 14. Make the pass in turn 14 and hope you can keep in front of the car you just passed all the way up the hill to turn 1 where you just might get passed by the car you just passed in 14.

Road America is fast and fun and a patient driver, I don't mean don't go fast I mean a driver who waits for the right time to pass will more time then not gain a position and keep it. C U on D Track

Performance is better now but still FPS drops and stuttering at some parts of the track, which I didn't have with V 2.0. Hope it can be further optimized, because this version looks really good.

Looks nice but road friction still set to 1... why not change this?

The latest version 2.5 looks much better than 2.0 but it has the following problems:
1. Track is loading very long, compared to other tracks (=only small problem)
2. If you race against more than 3 AI opponents the game crashes!!!! (=big problem)
3. At certain parts of the track I get framerate-drops and stuttering (especially with HDR on), even when hotlapping alone (=big problem); didn't have this problem with V 2.0
Hope theses problems can be solved, then 2.5 will be a blast!

Looks nice but takes ages to load and framrates are pretty low.

AI race does NOT work at all.

Previous version worked great !

This version of road america crashes while trying to have a quick race with AI, why?? After loading the track, all that is displayed on the screen is the classical left menu (start race, car setting, ..., quit) and a black screen, with the empty fuel tank indicator on the top left! I've installed the track coping the folder track and pasting it in tracks folder of the game, so I think i didn't make any mistake, but as it seems by watching the images above AI quick race is correctly supported. Anyone with this issue??

We have try a race on road america with 24 racers.....to much lag and max CPU WARNING use...dO YOU HAVE ANY SOLUTION FOR HAT?

Vry good rfactor conversion track. d ppl who are complainin abt looks, jus go to d effects option & turn on HDR. D track comes alive den :)
