can someone guide me through this install? confused with what to do with the zip file after I download it. I don't know where to paste it. I've already downloaded reshade

Install ReShade DX11 to the appropriate folder according to whether you run 32bit or 64bit rF2 - either to Bin32 or Bin64 folder in the game installation folder (it's very likely you're running 64bit rF2, so in that case, install to Bin64 folder). Then copy the .ini file from the root of the .zip archive to the same folder. Finally, decide whether you want to use the "default" or "custom" version of my preset, go into the appropriate folder in the .zip file and copy its contents to the same folder again including the complete folder structure. The folders and file you're copying should already exist, just overwrite them.

When starting the game, you should see a message at the top that ReShade is installed and running. Just make sure it is set to use the correct preset and that should be all.

It would be simpler if ReShade could simply be packaged with the preset, but the creators of ReShade specifically ask people not to do that, so I follow their wish.
