THE event to go in UK if you like vintage and classic cars. Wish you many of you to go (if still tickets available...). Atmostphere is amazing, even if you have no interest with cars. 90% of visitors are dressed in vintage from 40s to 60s mainly. I went once dress normal... I was feeling guilty :) Lots of temporary shops with old stuff (too long list to details), many old/vintage cars in sale, Replicas of 356 or AC Cobra, prestigious auctions (Bonhams hall, great to visit) , music with 50s singers, etc etc.. I'm firstly going for watching the races but all around is amazing. Few years ago (6-8 years ago if remember) it was free entry to access all shops, stands around, food drinks... just no possibility to see the races. However crowd becoming so important they have decided to limit the quantity of visitors by doing ticket sale but each ticket giving at least entrance to some area of the circuit to see races (Grandstand a bit more expensive...) . I have the chance to live only at 90mn drive of Goodwood motor circuit. So of course will be there with my partner in 50s dress. Mine will be like one of these mechanics dress but it is my own creation with more badges (including the Goodwood one but also Esso flame, Michelin Bibendum, etc...)... and luckily it is a sunny week in UK!
