Renault Alpine A110 | Monte-Carlo 1971 1.1

During 1971 Monte-Carlo, Alpine got not less than 6 official cars given to several French pilots and to the Swedish Ove Andersson. It is the latter who will win the rally giving the chance to the French team of eventually becoming Constructor champion at the end of the season (with 5 victories out of 8 races, including 4 for the Swedish!).

Jean-Luc Thérier adds some to the twice-scored. Worth noting that Andruet, 4th in the final ranking, actually finished 3rd tied with Björn Waldegård and his Porsche 914/6.
