1973 was a remarquable season for Alpine Renault: 6 victories, including two hat-tricks sealed the domination of the French team, which won the very first Constructor World Championship.

From mythical Alpine blue to the blue-white-red from the French flag, Jean-Pierre Nicolas will lead the Tour de Corse, fighting against Ford Escort RS1600 RAC, to eventually finished the rally at the 5th place.
