One of my favourite skins for one my favourite cars, the Reiter Engineering bare carbon livery that was used on the Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT in the 10th round of the 2003 FIA GT1 championship.
The car was entered as a test in the final round of the GT1 championship of 2003 before it would enter fully in 2004. As such, the car had no sponsorship what so ever and was presented in a (very nice) bare carbon spec. This is a re-creation of that livery.
The skin itself wasn't very hard to make obviously, but I spend quite some time getting all the details right (based on the very limited amount of photographs on the internet of this exact car). That means the tyres, brake calipers, and interior are as close as I could get it to real life.
What's pretty unique is that this car was driven only in qualifying at Monza, it never entered the actual race. Even more unique was the driver line-up: Tom Kristensen and Rinaldo 'Dindo' Capello of Le Mans legend took to the wheel. I've added a (rudimentary) replica of Tom's helmet.
There are some differences, RSS simulated a later version of the R-GT with the louvres over the front wheels, which the car didn't have in 2003. I tried my best to get the numberplate aligned.
