Actually, I don't know why I expected the first turn to be the left one - anyway, I was surprised that it turned out to be the right turn. haha :) (sim)Driver surprised by the direction of the 1st turn - isn't it hilarious thing to say? Surprised or not - I really like this layout. And chicane is a real icing on this cake. This kind of chicanes is tricky. It looks simply fast, as the turns are not drawn too deep - I mean, it's more like a shape of a snake moving rather fast than slow. But it's difficult to pass it really fast - cause the faster you go the shorter seems to be distance to make the turn ("Elementary, my dear Watson" - would say Sherlock Holmes). So in the end it's not easy to adjust the speed the perfect way, to pass the chicane in a smoothest way with the smoothest balance (I must ask the snake how he do it). A bit slower - you lose the time. A bit faster - you're in trouble. As for me - it's easier to pass chicane made of 90 degree turns - you know from the start how much of brake and how much of throttle to use there. Take this whole hilarious description as a sincere compliment for this track. The bigger the challenge, the bigger the fun - this motto never fails.

Your wordy description of the snaky chicane shows me that you like it and I'm glad about that. The aim was to create a counterpart to the clear overview and "free drifting" that dominates the rest of the track. There my brother asked me for clear (not blind) turns where it's possible to see their "waypoints" and the cars in front.
Thanks for your interesting and amusing review!
