I got to know this track in GTR2. 'Porsche Guy' had created this track from the midlands for Sports Car GT and I really loved the flow. Unfortunately: although the layout was pretty accurate, the scenery was fantasy..
This version found its way to AC but since the scenery and atmosphare are totally wrong, I decided to remake the track in 3DS MAX from scratch.
I did use the outline of the main layout as a starting point and build everything up from scratch.
I hope you like it. I love the layout with Mazda MX, Porsche GT3 CUP etc..

The real track:

The Mid America Motorplex is a relatively new club circuit located in Pacific Junction,
Iowa that was designed by world-renowned track designer Alan Wilson.
The track is 2.23 miles long with 15 turns (increasing and decreasing radiuses),
long straights, many passing zones, a very challenging chicane near the pit entrance,
and a flat out kink." Lately it was renamed to 'Raceway Park of the Midlands'
In 2019 the whole track was flooded and afterwards a lot of work was done to recover from that. You will find drone footage of the flood on youtube. (search for Raceway Park of the Midlands Flood')
Still to do:

Add some more track side objects (cars, trucks and tents)
Add some more vegetation
Fine tune the tarmac (add some patches)
Add lights
Add rain effects
Fix grooves and skids
Real traffic on the highway (who can help?)

I did borrow a few objects and textures left and right, but almost everything was made from scratched or edited.
