Its very good. Andreas has done phenomenal work for 07, the most underrated greatest sim racer of all time. Personally though i prefer using the og version only because your a bit limited to what content will work with it. I also find the new shaders drain the colour from the game a bit too much for my liking, Still, its a great achievement & hope it continues to get worked on.

After a little bit of testing (mainly WTCC 2006 cars & tracks), I have to say that this Remaster makes the game look better that I thought it was possible. Gone is the yellowish filter that the game had in most tracks, being replaced now by more natural looking shaders. Also, the updates on the car themselves (HDC, talent files...) makes the races more enjoyable. Apart of some bugs here and there, I found this Remaster an excellent way of giving RACE 07 a new "life".

This mod is for Steam version, so Steam has to be open in the background.

Fantastic mod to update the cars and tracks to a more modern standard. Highly recommended!

The brighter, modernized menu and shader improvements gave this old gem a nice uplift and motivated me to play it again.
I highly recommend it.

Hey i've only given it a low rating simply because it won't begin to load up after the initial video config. I've used all 3 of the installs types as mentioned.
However I'm on windows 11 using a so I don't if that is causing the problem. Help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks for even creating the mod. I understand creating mods ain't easy and when the problem is sorted i'll give you a 5 star rating.
