Track follows the layout of the old "Pyynikinajot" races, in the Pyynikki area of the city of Tampere, Finland.
Pyynikinajot was mostly motorcycle racing, in the years 1932-1939 and 1946-1971. In 1962 and 1963 the races were part of the motorcycle racing world championships, and the layout was lengthened to the version used in this mod.

In 1965-1967 cars also took part in the racing.

Excellent, Hannu!
Nice detail - and thanks for making it open field ("Stop Exporing and Get Back on the Track" LOL - you knew we'd be there!).
Tried it with the Jide 1600 and it works great with this track.

Thanks Rob, I only had energy to do the areas right next to the track for now, but I knew someone's always gonna wonder off :)
Fun track with good finnish atmosphere

I enjoyed it alot
Really cool track. The only problem I have with it is that it's short. Feels like driving in an actual road and it's really fun.
Nice lovely ingame track. Looks overall good, tall trees, lake
(thousands lakes in Finland), islands etc. Needs some polishing, maybe there are bumpy sections irl but 3d trees or something i prefer for visuals. Reminds me Viron Kose-Kloostrimetsa track, don't know if it exists in AC or other sim or not.
I never can't create Kose-Kloostrimetsa but would like to see beside Auto24 ring.
Aivan loistava rata! Suomalainen tunnelma oikein tuoksuu tänne saakka ruudun läpi. Mukavan poukkoileva ja raffi tuo suomi asfaltti. 5/5
Great start and a lot of fun in smaller capacity cars (not one for a 917k!), thank you. Is there a 1960s version of the track in your plans at all? Would snap your hand off for a period version if it would be at all possible.

I was thinking about doing a 60's version, but not that much would be different... even most of the buildings are same. I could make up stuff like a bumpier track or younger looking trees, but that would feel a bit fabricated. I'll see if I can find more period pictures.
Wow, what a start! This track is huge fun, and wonderfully deadly.

The road mesh in the forest section (mainly start/finish) feels like it might be a little lower-poly (not just bumpy) but other than that I really like it a lot already. Once there will be a distant landscape (rather than empty space) to cover the more distant scenery areas, the sense of immersion will be fabulous.

Thank you for bringing this gem to AC and keep up the great work! Would you like to have another TV camera set for this one? :)

I could make a realistic horizon line by climbing on top of the observation tower and take pics from there - but that's for next year, trees are turning yellow and red now...

I could use another TV cam set. I don't really use those myself, I found the editing so cumbersome, I just made one set as quickly as possible and then added trees in front of the cams afterwards :) I think I'm gonna rework the trees so their positions might change.
Well done !
Thanks.
