PUNKCM61 - MCL38 8k textures - FOM Chassis 1.1

Hey everyone,

I know Codemasters will soon upload their version of this livery but I wanted to share what I've done.

Before installing anything, PLEASE read this. Installation is different if you use Semi Modular Mods or not :

FIRST OF ALL :
Go to F1 23\2023_asset_groups\f1_2023_vehicle_package\teams\mclaren\wep and make a copy of your mclaren.erp file. Name it default_mclaren.erp

That way, if you don't like my mod after all, all you have to do is delete my mclaren.erp file and RENAME the default_mclaren.erp to mclaren.erp and you'll revert back to the original chassis. This is very important and it should be the first step.

IF YOU USE SEMI MODULAR MODS :

• Open the “WITH SEMI MODULAR MODS” folder
• Extract content of the folder inside your F1 23 folder
• Go to F1 23\2023_asset_groups\game_package\text_validation
• Open the words.erp file
• Replace the personal_sticker_00.tif file wih the one in the file
• Replace numbers 81 and 4 with the ones in the folder

IF YOU DON’T USE SEMI MODULAR MODS

• Open the “NO SEMI MODULAR MODS” folder
• Extract content of the folder inside your F1 23 folder

It is very important to follow these steps if you have modular mods or not.

If you have modular mods but don’t follow these steps, you won’t be able to have #4 and #81 with the car and the halo will either not appear or be duplicated.
