Finally the version 1.0 is out!

A short video:

Changes, improvements and fixes:
  • Background mesh and texture updated: they were like 200 textures mixed in 4 big ones to improve the magnificent view of the snowy alps.
  • Corrected the mirrored trees, also I added a variation of them to make the panorama mode diverse. It was the same with the bushes.
  • The pitlane was reworked, now it's made of white tents that have more objects inside.
  • Guardrails were reworked and the fences of the first section too, now they look more "realistic".
  • Added the snow version, with snowy trees and and bushes and the mountains near the track covered too. It's not perfect, but it looks acceptable I guess.
  • Added more lights, fixed some borders, and changed the texture of the lines and the asphalt. So the track now is less wide than before.
  • There are more objects, like ambulances, cranes and also marshalls controlling the race. You can find them everywhere.
  • I removed some curbs and kerbs, to make the track more "classic".
Those are mostly the big changes that I remember now and you'll see at the moment you race there, of course it's not perfect. Maybe in the future, if you find many mistakes I'll release another update fixing them. So tell me trough the discussion tab.

Thank you all!
First of all, I have to say that this version took me lots of time due many issues and reworks from the track itself, and well I'm by my own doing this and I have to work too, but although those inssignificant issues I'm glad to update and share this to the community, cuz maybe or not I don't know If I could been doing this without your support guys. So thank you all!

So, enough of boring speeches I'm gonna list a few particular points of interest on this version below.

-Houses are now besides the track, almost of them are close to be finished or already done, I'll see in the next update if I do some fixes and alterations to it.

- The train now is alive, I mean it's got movement, it has kinetics, call it like you want. Animation for the train is done, you can see it coming to the station or depart!

-Some places now are less wide than before, but not that much a little fix.

-AI seems to be better than before (better for me means they not get stuck with random stuff or walls in the track)

-Now I have split the visual mesh to the physical one for a better performance and well also to close many holes in the track, I guess you cannot escape now from the main track.

-Course B and C were modified, they look nicer, to be fair they look pretty the same but improved in many aspecs.

-Added a reverse version of the Grindelwald normal layout (I don't have the intention of reverse the other layouts since they'are not so relevant as the normal one)

- Added more lights, but this need more work.

-The pit street now is wider than before.

- More geometry around the track.

- I added bushes to the whole track.

- Now there are people watching the race or sitting in the grandstand.

- Improved a bit the background.

And mostly that's it, but theres a lot a work to do yet:
- Rain configuration for the track.
- Details in some places, or improve some textures.
- Optimization, seems like now the track is not so optimal in performance, I'll see how to handle it.
- I'll analyze the idea of change some trees to the new system of 3D trees.
- As I said before, I like the idea of snow in the track, but looks like there isnt an easy way to do it, I'll deal with it or discard the Idea in case of being too complex.
- Lack of cameras for the reverse version, more work to do, I have no problem If someone else wants to do it.

And many more which I dont remember now.

A new update for this classical GT track after weeks. I tried to take more time than before just to make a release of this beautiful track with more quality trying to adjust and modify the track day by day.

As I wrote in my "todo" list, I made the layout B of the this racetrack and instead of just sitting in my chair placidly just keep doing the main track itself and the B variant, I added a new layout. The C variant, so this is an update with huge of content for me that of course I want you to enjoy it like me!

Well, enough of my own words (for now), I'm going to list features of this release and many other things which I still have to do.

- Layout B, a variant of the main track trough the mountain and a tunnel.
- Layout C, a variant inside the main layout of the track, just a trip with hairpings and differences in the height.
- New texture for pines, they look better I think, more close to GT2 version.
- New variants of trees in the whole track.
- Sidewalks in turn 1 till turn 3 are far more similar to the real Grindelwald.
- New Streetlights in the whole circuit in reference of the real Grindelwald too.
- Added more detail beside the layout, this include, cars, signals, cows, walls, etc...
- Added groove line and tyre marks, mostly ok, but in some parts they are transpassing the track.
- Modified the distance of the train and the main track in sector 2.
- Added mask textures in the whole track.
- Now you can race at night, provided you have CSP enabled. Plus added emissive materials for lights.
- No more holes in the track (of course there are some which you couldn't see driving there)
- People is coming to see the track, for now there is not so much but they will keep coming in the future, Added people to the grandstands and the station zone.
- AI is working now for all the tracks, I just have to fix some minor issues but it's ok.
- Added an extra option in the main track with similar angles of GT2 cameras. Also all cameras are working fine, but in some parts they are obstructed for objects, so I need to fix that.

And well those were the main features of this update, of course there is more that I forgot to mention here (good and bad things) and you can discover by yourself just driving along the track.

To conclude this update post, I want to say a few words. (sorry lol) I have to admit this is more than I thought at the beggining, this is like a rollercoaster all the time but mostly I'm happy with the progress of this project. I need some time to rest more, but the feeling of improving the track is far more than my own exhaustion.
This is a lot work to do, but at least is less than before so, I'll keep going on!
So... Thanks to all who made a review or just downloaded the track I appreciate so much!!

That's all folks! I'm going share some captures of the track below:

yay!

(if you have any problem running the track, please tell me)
Here it goes the new version of this amazing track from Gran Turismo, there is nothing relevant to describe that you already know about the track. Just my gratitude for those who commented the last update and gave me a lot of feedback to improve the track until this version.

But well, there's a lot of work which I have to do yet, and I'm glad to have more free time right now to keep modeling this track.

No more time to words, straight to the point. About the updates I'll just write some important below:

- Track leveled, now you can feel the layout more flat.
- Added signals, most of them you already seen in the original track so I created new ones taking references of the originals. Plus I added some signals of the real place in question.
- Fences, Walls, and more objects to limit the sides of the track.
- Updated the road texture, now is more realistic I guess.
- I have change some of the textures, and in the process I converted all of the "no .dds" texture to dds. So now it's more optimized than before.
- Still no houses, just a few of them (I already mention that It's the most expensive to do in terms of time?)
- AI is broken now, I have to rework it. But they can do a few laps.
- Mostly, the walls which had bad collisions now are fixed.
And more.
Since this is my first track (serious) in AC the updates can be slow along the weeks, but I'll keep doing this little by little.

Here a few shots (Tried my best I swear)

- More details around the whole track. New kerbs, more buildings.
- A better texture for the drivable road.
- No texture and details for Houses yet.
