Batik Inspired skin for the 911 R.

Note: The Batik design is not mine you can see the original here (not in English)

Batik consists of an array of diverse patterns influenced by a variety of cultures, although widespread throughout South East Asia, it's most prominent throughout Indonesia. Surabayan Batik consists of strong and bold concepts, this particular design features the emblem of the city of Surabaya (The Shark (Ikan Sura: Suro) and Crocodile (Buaya: Boyo)) two creatures which, according to a local myth, fought a never-ending battle in order to gain the title of the most powerful animal in the region. I've decided to go for a painted by hand approach (similar to the Bugatti L’Or Blanc) on the bonnet, roof and rear as well as a printed effect on the doors contrasted by an accompanying white carbon fibre exterior. I've also decided to follow the theme of red and white, the colours of Indonesia, visible by the batik motifs, the carbon fibre and the interior design which would include: white leather, red and white carbon elements, red stitching, red calipers and a red 911 R plaque. Also features a Surabayan vanity license plate.
