Serious confession: This was originally an idea for a joke livery. But then I started working on it and taking it ever more seriously, and in the end it actually turned out really well. So I'm releasing the un-joke-ified version here on Race Department.
The fictional team name, Grupo Modelo by zerobandwidth autosports, is of course a reference to the company that owns the Corona Extra beer brand. As such the skin files give Mexico as the country of origin.
The car number 25 was chosen in part because it was not used in the real-life 2019 VLN series (and thus the skin can fit on track with a set of real VLN GT3 cars). It also refers to 1925, the year in which Grupo Modelo was founded.
A full pit and crew skin is included as well.
The driver uses stock Kunos suit textures. The fictional driver name, Felix Fernandez, is a combination of the names of the two founders of Grupo Modelo.
As with the beverage, enjoy responsibly.
