The Porsche 908 was a winner at Monza and the Nürburgring, but for the 1969 Le Mans 24h, Porsche mained the new 917LH, a car so notorious for its handling that it even killed John Woolfe during the opening lap of the race. Three Porsche 908LH's were entered as backup for the quartet of Stuttgart 917's, which turned out to be the right call.
And here are the 3 backup's:
Driven by: Udo Schütz/Gerhard Mitter (DNF)
Driven by: Rudi Lins/Willi Kauhsen (DNF)
Driven by: Hans Herrmann/Gérard Larrousse (2nd)
Liveries utilize custom numbers and custom decals, my future wife was sleeping so I had to make them myself (crying at the moment)
Leave a like or a review if you're feeling extra doped up
