The 1968 Daytona 24h saw Porsche dominating the race with a 1-2-3-4 finish with the 907LH. For 1969, Porsche aimed to repeat this victory by entering 5 908LH's and 1 907K. Sadly, only the red nose #53 managed to finish the full 24h race, giving the Lola T70 its first iconic victory, and the first win in the 1969 WSC.
