Installation:
==========================================================================================================
1. Install the game
2. Fire it up, create profile and configure controls, exit
3. Copy GameData folder from PLGTL package into main folder of GT Legends and overwrite all files (this step installs the mod)
4. Open your .PLR file in Notepad ("GT Legends\UserData\YourUserName\YourUserName.PLR") and paste all FFB settings from either FFB1.txt or FFB2.txt. Settings in .plr are located under [ Controls ], around line 670.
5. In the same .plr file search (without quotes) for ' Steer Ratio Speed= ' value and change it to Steer Ratio Speed="0.00000" (turns off variable steering ratio)
6. [Logitech wheels] Open your Logitech Profiler and set it as shown in attached screenshot
*7. If you find AI too hard in career/cup events try files from "Career friendly AI" folder
*8. Read the rest of this file for extra info
Attached FFB settings:
==========================================================================================================
-FFB1.txt contains VERY heavy, tight in the center, Live for Speed like setup. Force will decrease only when wheels are locked during braking.
-FFB2.txt contains less powerful, GTR2 like setup. Additionally force will decrease when front wheels are overturned.
Decrease Overall Effects Strength in Logitech Profiler to as low as 101% if 110% is too strong for your liking. As for Thrustmaster wheels usual profiler settings are fine (Overall 75-100, Constant 100, Periodic 100, Spring 0, Damper 0, by the game). If force is too tight or too loose in the center play with ' FFB steer force exponent= ' value in your .plr file.
Driving assists reminder:
==========================================================================================================
Remember to turn off driving aids when on track - keys from F1 to F8 (lower difficulties may turn assists ON automatically).
Car setup:
==========================================================================================================
Please bear in mind that steering lock in our setups is for wheels with 900 degrees of rotation.
Tire smoke generation:
==========================================================================================================
You can delay the point at which player car tire smoke is generated (with PLGTL tires will generate smoke too soon). Values are in .PLR file (Smoke Player Threshold FW="1.00000" and Smoke Player Threshold RW="1.00000") for AI cars it is (Smoke AI Threshold="15.00000") - values in brackets are already increased.
Windows 10 / Steam version:
==========================================================================================================
If GTL doesn't start correctly, set the compability mode to Windows XP SP 3 for GTL.exe and run it as Admin.
