Peugeot Sport being new on this race, the team developed the car of numerous times between the first tries and the race.
The notable evolutions concern back ailerons, which were 3 times modified in 3 days!
Ari Vatanen and Andrea Zanussi possess each one Peugeot 205 Evo 2 gone up by an front aileron specific, by a double back aileron and relieved thanks to the deletion of the co-driver's seat, useless for this race. Shekhar Mehta, him, has only one Peugeot's Evo 2 equipped with the front aileron specific to Pikes Peak.
