Hello friends,
I have created a PSD file (Photoshop) that I think can be of great help when identifying car categories within the Assetto Corsa Content manager.
How does it work?
Enjoy!
I have created a PSD file (Photoshop) that I think can be of great help when identifying car categories within the Assetto Corsa Content manager.
How does it work?
- Assign tag to the carIt is assigned here. We can add all the labels we want.
- Create the IconLOGOS: We can choose the logo we want by viewing it or not. There are many logos missing, but together we can add the missing ones.
The CATEGORIES.PSD file has this structure.
AÑOS: same operation as LOGOS but we can change to the year number we want. I have tried to put a font according to each era
Then we export it to PNG (for example "lm-1984.png")
- Modify the file JSONIn the path "C:\Users\nameuser\AppData\Local\AcTools Content Manager\Data (User)\Car Categories" are the .JSON files. By default, CM has several. ATTENTION: Make a copy of the directory before modifying.
I have created my own files (Attachments). For example, for this car, I have created the file "24 H LE MANS.json"
With this code, all cars that have the "lm 1984" label will be inside that "lm-1984.png" icon that we created previously
- I have created some sample PNGs to help us
- I have added the fonts that I use in Photoshop so that you can install them before starting, although you can use whatever you want
Enjoy!
