The effects caused by dirty airflow are mainly changed, and the following effects result.
Following will become harder, especially if the Gap is less than 0.5 seconds.
Overtaking occurs more often at the end of major straights or in corners, rather than in the middle of the straight.
Fewer DRS, ERS trains. More than 10 cars all linked together for a long time doesn't happen anymore.
More sliding in corners due to reduced downforce from dirty airflow, resulting in increased tire wear. (Not so much that you need to add a stop but if you don't put more effort into protecting your tires then you may find that they are worn more than 75% by the time you schedule a stop)
Ai will have more mistakes when following the car, from my testing it will be around 6-10 mistakes at 50% race.
Overall this will bring the outcome of the whole race closer to reality

I have to agree with the previous comment. The McLaren seems to be a bit OP, especially the race pace.

Otherwise a absolutely brilliant mod. Pretty much saved F124 for me. Codies should hire you :D
Generally - I really like this mod and its effects. There's only one flaw that yet has a major impact on gameplay which is mightiness of one team. It used to be RB later on transforming into McLaren. There's no way somebody else outqualifies Oscar or Lando and then equalizes the racing pace with them. Fix that, please.
Fun mod otherwise, but Red Bull right now is about a second faster than any other car when using the S3.11.2 version of the mod.
Red bull is too fast
update to v.11?

For me 23 does a good balance of vehicle performance and slipstream/dirty air, and if it's the drs visual effects part of this mod you want I have a 23 mod for that
So I just copy and paste the "core_assets_ui.erp" ?
Where can I download this Ego ERP Archiver software
Really like this mod, added with Hotlap = Overtake SERP mod. These two make the game really enjoyable. Instead of just following now to get DRS and save tires. You need to get around or you will end up eating the rears due to the traction physics because the back end will slide around on you. Plus you do have a harder time launching out of slow corners while following closely. Which anyone who watches real F1 knows this is a real thing. Great mods to combine. Really having fun with these.
Does it work with V1.17? If not can you update?
Will there be an update to v1.7?
Great mod! I'm only 3 races in to my Career Mode, but so far the mod works as intended. The field is much more spread out, and not driving in a train following each other. Thank you!

If you're looking for requests, I would love to see this mod include tyre wear for more pit stops and/or realistic/increased damage to go along with the dirty air effect. If a mod had all 3 effects, it would be my go-to mod for sure!
I try your mod but in my first race half of the field when off road. So no really realistic.
the GOAT of mods for F124 so far

Grazie
I would like to give this a try; however I am not familiar with where to install the XML file since I use some alternate liveries.
