Like the title say Overtake mod is no more effective than the Hotlap mode.
AI no longer blast by you on the straits because of the AI perfect ERS management and makes for much more closer racing.

Also in the mod files are also added increased damage mod.

Install:
Copy and paste in the game folder.

Mod still works for the 1.7 patch.

Always liked using this mod. I personally liked the increased damage. Doing a Verify for online racing (Just to get T-boned by a griefer) always reminds me why I hate online racing. Then to do a race without the mod or any increased damage mod and your car is basically an armored tank that needs at least 40 MPH difference in speed to cause any damage.... Plus ya the AI and their ridiculous ERS, how is it that all the AI have full batteries all the time when not one team in S1 of a driver career have a single ERS upgrade? Wow EA just WOW. That's why Mods like this are needed. Been using this one for Months bro, good work.

How do install files because it doesn't prompt me to overwrite any files and it just adds it into the f124 folder instead

Install path F1 24\2024_asset_groups\environment_package\core_assets\ui
but you need to install the SERPS MOD fist.

but you need to install the SERPS MOD first.

No. Link is there for crediting the creator of the SERPs mod that im using to creating my mod and to provide install instruction on how to use SERPs mod.

I use a fair few mods, but 1st time commenting. This is brilliant, it has made the racing so much better and has saved this year's game for me. No more need to dial down the difficulty for races and the game is way more fun.

Where do i put the xml files? And do you need to start a new career?

XML files are for use with custom liveries and you need to use Ego ERP Archiver to import them.
You don't need to start new carrier for it to work.

This is without a doubt the best mod for F1 24! Cars don’t fly past you on every straight and you can actually battle other cars and don’t have to worry that every straight you get passed by at least 3 cars… amazing! This has made the game so much more fun to play!
