NOTE: The last image is a real photo, available at the official Facebook page of the Campeonato Gaucho de Super Turismo (was not taken by me and its intended for comparison)
[About the car]
Driven by Ricardo and Nikolas Kreuz and tuned by Overboost Motorsports team, the Aldee GT, or Aldee MBK (Mecanica Bidu Kreuz?) is a Super Touring race car (not to be confused with the former BSTC and actual BTCC) from southern Brazil. Currently powered by a naturally aspirated (or an "all-motor", if you prefer) Honda K20, it is the current leader of the 2024 season of the Campeonato Gaucho de Super Turismo, winning both rounds (held at Taruma and Velopark, respectively) and aiming to keep its season invincibility at the 6 Hours of Guapore.
Back when it was powered by a turbocharged Volkswagen AP engine, it was runner-up of the 2022 season of the Campeonato Gaucho de Super Turismo, losing the championship on the last round to the Ferrari-Maserati V8-powered Lamborghini Gallardo driven by Vilson Junior , Fernando Vianna and Paulo Rutzen (trivia: they've battled for the championship on the track, at the same time as they've also battled to win the race, being the Gallardo both the Season Champion and final race winner, also the Gallardo started the season with an Audi 1.8T engine, similar to the 1st-generations of S3 and TT and the Mk4 Golf 1.8T)
The mod runs balanced with WRC and GT300 race cars
Credits:
Touge Workshop - Car Sound (Honda Civic SiR-II (EG6) K24 Monster, pretty accurate for the Aldee, by the way)
David X. and SketchUp 3D Warehouse - Honda B18C VTEC engine 3D model
Unknown - Car Rims, roof LED lights
Special Thanks:
Kunos Simulazioni, for developing Assetto Corsa and providing the Car Modding Pipeline with the game
Enjoy and let the VTEC kick in yo!
Known issues:
The stock ratios are too short, but can be useful for short tracks, like Martinsville, eighth-mile drag races or kart tracks (can be fixed via custom setup)
The headlights, taillights, reverse lights and roof lights does not work (only the brake lights work)
The tires may float a little sometimes, but in almost all times you won't notice)
