This is the Nurburg GP circuit as it opened after major renovations in 1984 40 years ago.
It was the site of the 1984 European GP won by Alain Prost, the 1985 German GP won my Michele Alboreto. It was also the place where the 1984 Race of champions took place wich saw 20 Mercedes 190E's being raced by former F1 champions aswell as other F1 drivers. The race was won by Ayrton Senna.
This is the correct layout of the circuit used in the 1980s (1984-1994) with the Veedol S not the chicane.
Im not sure who the author of this track is. It was part of the 1984 Virtual Classic track pack wich I cant remember how or where I got it from. All I know is the camera files are by patrickramirez for GTL and GTR. Credits to whoever made this track.
