Nuerburg Village
Conversion from GT Legends to Race 07 by Sergio Hundo
Thanks der Dumeklemmer for permission of conversion to Race 07 and i want to thank raceking, the track creator to rFactor. Thanks for you too !!! You did great work.
But this track is different. Who to drive in this track Nuerburg Village need attent somethings:
1) Obey the traffic rules, especially the yellow belts.
2) Find the best overtaking points.
3) There is a sloping section. Be careful when accelerating at this point ... and after crossing this descent, reduce and brake, as the front has a 90º turn to the left.
4) This curve (90º) is a dilemma, an obstacle or whatever you want to call it, but many of the AI's (or most) will hit there. Including me (I hit too, sometimes). I made the best configurations so that the race is well disputed, without this curve interfering in any way in the results, because the AI's crash, but mainly on the side and don't "get tangled" so much. Whoever wants, change these lines in the AIW and GDB files, as you can change their behavior, to be slower, faster or more prudent. Try it if you want, but I left it in the best condition.
Open the Nuerburg_Village.AIW/GDB files with Notepad or similar program and find this lines. It was there that I changed the values to configure the AI's. But remember: their settings are not limited to this file, but also the .gdb, in which case these two files change them in this track exactly, together with the others files in the game, such as .rcd, .plr and .hdc:
in AIW file:
AIBrakingStiffness=(1,1,.8)
WorstAdjust=(0.75)
MidAdjust=(1.0)
BestAdjust=(1.3)
in GDB file:
RoadDryGrip = 1.375
AIDryGrip = 1.375
RoadWetGrip = 1.060
AIWetGrip = 1.060
5) As there is this curve issue, I play with AI 100% and 50% or 30% damage (depend of the car/category/mod) . When the AI's hit, they don't go to the pit and the race continues as normal.
6) The track features rain reflection. I made wet textures file and who want, take a look in my works description. You get it there.The view of the track look much better.
7) Lastly, choose the best cars or configure them, as I find it interesting that you observe which car best suits your style. I tested several, I do not recommend the Volvo s40.
P.S.: On rainy races days, it is possible to view a mountain in the distance with a bluish color (only viewing from a distance). I tried to change the texture, rainfogin-out, resolution, unfortunately without success. In a future update, we can fix this.
The purpose of all this is to provide entertainment, without any financial or commercial return. Have fun ! This is enough.
Instalation:
Unzip rar file with Winrar or similar program and paste in Location folder in Race 07. Enjoy !!!
