Attached is a high definition livery of the Nissan Fairlady ZG (ZR) campaigned by the Nissan Factory Works Team at the 1000km of Suzuka in May, 1973. The livery has been built up for use with the gd_nissan_240zg model.
This car was driven to First in class, driven by Kenji Tohira and distinguished racer Kunimitsu Takahashi (Motorcyclist, F1 competitor, Le Mans Class Winner, Super GT driver and manager). The car won after completing 150 laps after the race was shortened to 900km due to poor track conditions (heavy rains).
This car in particular, with its history and inky dark green paint scheme, is my favorite of the Fairlady ZG liveries. So I encourage you to give this and its fiery red sister car a download.
Historic details such as typefaces and decals have been researched and applied to match how the cars appeared in 1973.
This model is a joy to drive in Assetto and fits in very well with the recent
AC Legends GT Classic Pack by Bazza. Please look forward to more high definition Fairlady ZG skins to come!
As always, a big thanks to the community JGT Database on Discord, whose focus is on gathering an extensive archive of images and records focused on Japanese Motorsports through the 20th Century.
