Attached is a higher definition version of the Nissan Fairlady ZG (ZR) used by the Nissan Ōmori Works Team for the 1973 season. This livery has been built up for use with the gd_nissan_240zg model.
Believed to have been the same car used as a Competition test bed, this car was driven in the 1973 season by various drivers. For the International 200 mile race at Fuji, Takatoshi Teranishi was behind the wheel, driving the #23 car to 18th overall in the grand total points, leading the other Z cars, and behind sport prototypes from Lola, Chevron, March, and indigenous entries.
Primarily, the only differences noticeable from the Test livery the car wears to this day, are the layout of sponsorship decals, driver name and number atop the roof, and the revised design (repaint) of the Wild Cat emblazoned on the sides.
This model is a joy to drive in Assetto and fits in very well with the recent
AC Legends GT Classic Pack by Bazza. Please look forward to more high definition Fairlady ZG skins to come!
Also a big thanks to the community JGT Database on Discord, whose focus is on gathering an extensive archive of images and records focused on Japanese Motorsports through the 20th Century.
