Hi, this is my opinion to give you sharper images in F1 2017. Game is really buggy again, but a lot of fun in carrier mode. I can nothing edit in the game, because it is hardocded. For me a lot of immersion is destroyed with this annoying texture streaming issues. Not only the PS4 Version has this terrible graphical issues. The only way is for me to sharpen the graphics with ReShade and give real smaa too. I´m using the checkerboard TAA in video options of the game.
Have fun with this little modification. I´ve not changed so much on lighting. It is really difficulty to change it, because on some sections on track the light is to bright and on other to dark.
Check out and rate my little mod.
installation:
unzipped 7 zip archive files. Open the folder NeffO´s Reshade settings 1.0 F1 2017. Copy all files of this folder into your main game directory.
I have no time to mod bigger projects at the moment. It is not necessary to turn off depth of field in the hardware_settings file.
Ingame gamma is 1.00. Not optimized for hdr, because I have no hdr screen.
Shortkeys for Reshade:
Shift and F3 for turn off effect or turn on effect
Numpad 0 turn off Lumasharpen
Features of Reshade I use:
-Tonemap
- Liftgammagain
- Vibrance
- Saturation
- Exposure
- Fine Sharping
- Lumasharpen
- Curves
- SMAA
