Pure LCS and Pure Gamma scripts:
Pure Gamma:
- Adjust tonemapping
- Adjust exposure level and improved exposure stability
- Fixed gamma slider
Notes:
- Adjust saturation
- Adjust glare
- Adjust ambient light
- Adjust sunrays in VR
- If using Pure, ensure Pure and CSP updated to latest versions
- Installation instructions are included in the readme file
- Note that free version of CM doesn't install this properly via drag and drop
- If you like the filter, you can get email notifications of updates via the "watch" function
Natural Mod + Pure LCS:
Natural Mod + Pure Gamma:
Pure LCS Script:
- Sunblinding effect in VR reduced
- Sunblinding slider can now be adjusted by user in shaders tab of pure config app
- Adjust sunrays
- Adjust tonemapping
Pure LCS script:
If you like the filter, you can get email notifications of updates via the "watch" function
- NLP reset to default
- Higher exposure at night
- Adjust sunblinding

LCS:
Adjusted exposure (much more stable), glare, displays, sky, sunblinding (probably needs a bit more tweaking but can be done through pure config app if required)
If you like the filter, you can get email notifications of updates via Racedepartment's "watch" function

Pure Script:
- Adjust advanced ambient light, should be less dull looking. May need more fine tuning but good for now.
- Adjust CSP lights strength
- Small adjustment to tonemapping and exposure, with exposure target set dependent on LCS on/off (don't think its worth using LCS for now, just did this in case useful to test anything)
- Adjust lambert gamma
- Adjust stars visibility
- Removed adjustment of advanced_ambient_light_vao_exp
- Removed adjustment of displays
Pure script:
Adjust ambient light, should look just right as sun is coming down now
Remove skydome contrast adjustment
Significant changes to exposure and ambient light, should give better visibility in general and bright tracks like LAC and High Force should look better.
Fine tuning of VAO, spectrum adaption, displays, glare, clouds, reflections, sunblinding

Pure script:
- Enabled ambient light v2
Adjusted:
- Ambient Light
- Spectrum Adaption
- Lambert gamma
- Stars appearance
- Emissives
didn't get a chance to test extensively or take screenshots but should be good
Changes to Pure script:
Requires Pure 0.222 + CSP 0.2.0 or higher
If you like the filter, you can get email notifications of updates via Racedepartment's "watch" function.
- Configure Pure sunblinding shader
- Configure advanced ambient light
- Exposure adjustments in dark scenarios
- A few misc tweaks
- Remove support for older versions of Pure and CSP
Pure script:
Adjust sunrays
Adjust displays brightness
Make sure you are using Natural_Mod and not some old ones which have since been removed like Natural_Mod_pure , Natural_Mod_vr etc.
If you like the filter, you can get email notifications of updates via Racedepartment's "watch" function.
Note that free version of CM doesn't install this properly via drag and drop.
Pure script:
Adjusted:
- overall brigthness at day and at night
- highlights tonemapping
- directional ambient light (more subtle)
- displays, lights brightness
- workaround a potential issue with custom tonemapping/pure config app which could cause other filters to look weird after using this one. suggest to reset pure config to default settings (and press save) to start fresh

issue with RD upload - redownload if you got this one
v21
new tonemapping via pure 0.180/CSP 0.180p218 significantly but subtly changes the whole look. not tested extensively but seems like a nice step change so thought it was worth uploading.
v21.1
add backwards compatibility for older csp version
New tonemapping (as shown in screenshots) only available with CSP 0.180p218 or above
new tonemapping via pure 0.180 significantly but subtly changes the whole look. not tested extensively but seems like a nice step change so thought it was worth uploading
Requires CSP 0.180p218
Pure script:
- Lots of fine tuning
- Changed approach to setting gamma+filmic contrast thanks to Ciba1991
- Includes fix for slow exposure initialisation with Pure 0.180 - code provided by Peter Boese
If you like the filter, you can get email notifications of updates via Racedepartment's "watch" function.

Adjust DEPTH_MASK_THRESHOLD to address issue with pure skydomes (thanks @ReturnMe ) (also added note to mod overview page re. skydome and clip planes)

Pure script:
- Tweak lambert gamma (sun effect on materials at low angles)
- Tweak sunray length and fix excessive sunrays in some cases in VR
- Contrast and brightness in bad weather
If you like the filter, you can get email notifications of updates via Racedepartment's "watch" function.
Pure script (REQUIRES PURE VERSION 0.154):
As the changes to the pure version were fairly drastic (despite hopefully looking largely unchanged), there might be a few more tweaks to come, so you might want to enable email notifications of updates via Racedepartment's "watch" function.
- Switch to new Pure AE logic, tuned for minimal fluctuation to avoid noticeable brightness changes. Day/night transition should be better, brightness more appropriate in all conditions, especially on some mod tracks which were brighter than KS tracks with this filter.
- Minor tweaks to:
- contrast logic
- gamma logic
- lights strength
- emissives
- sunrays
Natural_Mod_Base (for default weatherFX)
Natural Mod + Pure:
- Increased exposure
