NAMeS+AI: Real Drivers for AMS2 Mods 08Sept24

NAMeS+AI: Real Drivers for AMS2 Mods includes a complete set of custom-AI files that adds real driver names for all car mods available for AMS2. Drivers were matched to specific, historic liveries as much as possible, and all files feature drivers who raced or drove each car (or, in a few cases, the same marque) in reality.

This custom-AI set features real drivers for all mod cars for AMS2 (too many to list) authored by the following modders:

NAMeS+AI Real Drivers for AMS2 Mods.rar contains 4 distinct, AMS2CM-ready archive files. Each of these .rar files includes a z - prefix to ensure installation after the car mods themselves. The four .rar files have been designed to complement each other as follows:


Option 1: Real drivers with customized AI attributes (i.e., note the +AI in the file names).

z - NAMeS+AI Real Drivers for AMS2 Mods - This file features real drivers, with custom AI attributes, for all mod cars in AMS2. The set currently utilizes an array of attributes based on AMS2 V1.56; a future update for all AI attributes will be released in response to AMS V1.6.

z - NAMeS+AI+skins for AMS2 Mods - an add-on .rar file that can be installed alongside the file above that works seamlessly with various TAMS2SP community skins (e.g., WOLF, Xela1, deCarera, spanga). In other words,
install both
z - NAMeS+AI Real Drivers for AMS2 Mods
and
z - NAMeS+AI+skins for AMS2 Mods
to activate real drivers, with custom attributes, across all car mods when using additional TAMS2SP skins.


Option 2: Real drivers who display the mod's default AI behavior.

z - NAMeS Real Drivers for AMS2 Mods.rar - This file features real drivers for all mod cars in AMS2. The custom-AI files contain driver name and nationality only, so that all drivers exhibit the exact same characteristics as designed by the original modder. This version may be utilized by social media influencers who want to judge a mod on its own merits while enjoying the added immersion of AI competitors with real driver names.

z - NAMeS+skins for AMS2 Mods - an add-on .rar file that can be installed alongside the file above that works seamlessly with various TAMS2SP community skins (e.g., WOLF, Xela1, DeCarera, Rober). In other words,
install both

and
z - NAMeS+skins for AMS2 Mods
to activate real drivers, with default attributes, across all car mods when using additional TAMS2SP skins.

Installation

Installation of the original NAMeS: Real Drivers for AMS2 mod is strongly recommended to ensure proper activation of all custom-AI files during multiclass events, regardless of what combination of mods is selected.

Currently, AMS2CM represents the gold-standard of AMS2 mod management. The program is very easy to use and extremely helpful in organizing and activating all AMS2 mods, including any NAMeS mod.

Either drag-and-drop the NAMeS archive (as-is) onto the AMS2CM window, or manually move the downloaded NAMeS archive (as-is) (along with any accompanying mods) into the Automobilista\Mods\Disabled folder, select the NAMeS file (along with all other mods you want activated) from your list of available mods, and hit "Apply".
