Hello everyone!
After years downloading content here, I decided to contribute and give a bit back to the community for the many hours of entertainment it provided me
I have been always a fan of JGTC and even more of the longtailed version of the F1 GTR, but I saw that noone actually did the iconic Yellow Corn livery that Hitotsuyama raced. Additionally, the model we have in AC does not have the winglets they raced in the late years.
Therefore, I decided that I would take the challenge, invest the time, learn and mod the car. I am a complete newbie in skinning or modding, but after reading, watching guides, trial, error and enjoyment, hereby I present you my ever first mod:
- Hitotsuyama Racing Team - 2001 JGTC Season #21
- Hitotsuyama Racing Team - 2002 JGTC Season #76
IMPORTANT: The file is a whole standalone car with the 2 skins inside because when placing the new winglets I had to redo the AO Maps, etc. I knew no other way other than creating a new car.
All the rest (physics, sound, etc) are exactly the same as the car that Legion released long time ago and that Neko Taisen improved.
Just extract the contents and drop it into your assetocorsa folder.
There are still a lot of things to improve, but I wanted to atleast share it with you Yellow Corn enjoyers
I have planned updates such as new Work rims for the car, but I am currently struggling modelling the blur objects...
Last but not least, I would like to give credit to:
- The authors of the car: mainly Legion and Neko Taisen for updating it. I just simply put the winglets in it.
- DavidDGA for answering my questions and providing me with a baseline to work with.
