"Yeah, it's on purpose" - Carlos Sainz, 2023
Description

Here's my AI racing lines and hints for the Singapore GP Marina Bay Street Circuit 2020! If you can't tell already, this is my home GP, so without a doubt I put in an extra amount of effort to make sure the AI doesn't suck. Hopefully. It was an absolute pleasure to also work on the various configurations from Pyyer, from 2010 with its Singapore Sling to 2023 with the new straight.

Who designed this?
Based on my testing, it's up to 3-4 seconds faster for the RSS Formula Hybrid 2022 S on the 2022 configuration. Sometimes when there's a car pitting and another goes past, that AI might push a little too wide on the last corner. Just AI stuff I guess.

Track: singapore_2020 v1.22 (by ACU, reworked by JK)
Extensions / Layouts:
Note: These AI lines may not work for future versions. Its likely that the Classics Pack will be updated to include 2023, so I'll keep an eye on that. Should be no action required.

How to Install
  1. (Optional) Backup the existing AI files by renaming them with a .bak extension. (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks\singapore_2020\ai\ or\singapore_2020\layout_name\ai\)
  2. Delete any pre-existing payloads.bin files in the "ai" folder.
  3. Go back one directory up and go into the "data" folder (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks\singapore_2020\data\ or \singapore_2020\layout_name\data\)
  4. Rename the existing side_l.csv and side_r.csv with a ".bak" extension - this is to prevent AC from overwriting the pre-baked sidelines.
  5. Extract the contents of the .7zip file.
  6. Copy the "content" folder and paste it into your AC installation folder (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa).
  7. Replace files when requested.
You do not have to press Shift during loading - the sidelines I defined should already be baked into the .ai files.

I attended the weekend in 2022. It was my first F1 / motorsports event, and it was such a treat - we had GT3s and W Series too. The roaring sounds, the crowd reactions, the buzz. I sat around here. Chadwick crashed. Then W Series folded. I hope they get their prize money. :alien:
