If you purchased Grid Autosport by key after it disappeared from the Steam Store, you will find out that you do not get access to the free DLC that Codemasters made available at the time. So you don't have any HD textures in the game either, as these were later submitted via free DLC. Unfortunately, I found out that my HD vehicle skins don't work without the HD textures DLC either. Yeah, 9 years after the game was released, I noticed that too.
That's why I invested some time again to downgrade my HD vehicle skins. Here you get all 4 teams at once, i.e. Honda, Ford, BMW and Chevy. The Toyota skins for the Chevrolets are of course also included. Simply install the complete package and you have provided all Cat C Touring vehicles with my skins from the BTCC 2016.
If you already bought the game when it was still available on the Steam Store AND have the free HD Textures DLC, please download the 4 individual BTCC 2016 4K texture packs.
Please only download this Low Res texture pack if you NO longer have access to the original Codemasters HD texture pack.
There are 2 Versions, with and without windows numbers/names.
For installation just copy one of the cars folder to your Grid Autosport directory.
These low res textures are in 2K, otherwise they fully correspond to the 4K textures with all the improvements and changes that I have described in detail in the 4 individual BTCC 2016 4K texture packs.
