Mutsuaki Sanada was a Japanese racing driver known for his fierce and competitive attitude ever since his debut in motorsport at the age of 22. Driving many Japanese formula cars ever since 1966, he was acquainted with all forms of racing, from open wheel to stock car racing.
He also tackled a fair share of Grand Prix events, in 1969 with his Lola T70 MK.II Spyder. He dropped out after 6 laps.
We lost Mr Sanada on May 1st 2020, one day before his 78th birthday.
