A striking livery ran by Escuderia Montjuich from Spain at the 1973 Le Mans 24h!
Now, the 908/03 model we got via Legion (sadly it's not available at the moment, but I'm certain it'll return) is a group 7 spec model, the most famous one arguably. The issue is, Escuderia Montjuich had a group 6 specification 908/03; wider cockpit, closed rear bodywork and headlights.
To remedy this somewhat, I've added fake headlight covers to the front of the car:
Just be sure to not run the car at Le Mans in the dark!!!
As far as results go, it finished in 5th overall, 36 laps behind the race winners.
Despite my best efforts to stick to the best possible adaptation for the slightly different model, some visual bugs may occur on the seams of the dds file - I made the livery for a separate version of the car which has a slightly different AO. Hopefully this isn't too big of an issue.
I'd like to dedicate this livery to my aunt, who passed away last wednesday - we'll miss you!
