Designed with a licensed copy of Race Track Builder, using Google API data to use Google maps and elevation data. Data available on request if you want to have your own crack at building killarney
AI and collisions configured with Assetto Corsa SDK

The track was designed to be quite accurate ON TRACK. Go off at your own peril. Here be dragons.
I tried to get the feeling of immersion right, but this is my first track. Be nice.

Have fun and practice until we can all get back to the track again after lockdown

Known issues to be addressed:
-- AI tries to drive through pit wall from the pits and getting stuck like beached turtles
-- AI tries to overtake INTO the pit wall at race start. WTF.
-- There are three major terrain flaws in and around the oval, that will swallow you up and send you to mordor or kick you up to the moon, dealers choice. See if you can find all 3!
-- The sun angle is not perfect. Can't change this due to a problem loading persistence in AC SDK from RTB.

Future developments:
-Add Tablemountain in the background
Make functional drag racing.

To install, extract the complete structure into the "tracks" folder of Assetto Corsa.

Amazing work on the TRACK Francois! I for one am not concerned about everything else around the track like everyone else. My focus is mainly on the race track and how well you've replicated it, nothing more and Yes, surely a lot more can be done as others have mentioned. Alas, I've never been able to do proper circuit racing on Killarney as I cannot afford to but, this is awesome! wow! what an experience. I've certainly learnt a lot more about the turns than I did watching others race the track. Everything of the best with the mods going forward. :) -regards Lalla

The embankments are incorrect and the track is not smooth at all with alot of hills 0.o
iv actually asked reiza in ams2 ifthey would make a the track lol.

Hi Bud. The real track isn't smooth either. If they want the track files to work further on the project, I would gladly share. It's 50% of the work to get the track to this point, but to get it perfect is going to take many more hours. Unfortunately I don't have that time at the moment.

Good base start to the track. the pit garage need change to flat floor to prevent car falling through the map. The track edge/run off surface gradient need smoothing off the some corners to prevent a car bouncing around other than these issues I have see the track shows potential being a great track.
Hey, I'll be honest, I quite don't get the 5 stars reviews, the track is a nice addition to AC's mod pool, but this is far from even an "average quality" finished mod.
I'll try to be nice, cause the work still needs some respect, and I like the amount of detail you put in the surroundings, but here's what you need to critically work on to make this really nice :
- Known Issues from the description are actually pretty major except for the sun thing.
- Terrain is full of visible holes and texturing is not good, buildings too but it matters less. Like you said track is fine, anything outside isn't, but that's a bit too much as it kills a part of the immersion.
- Track kerbs need some work, some skidmarkings and white lines along each side would be nice too.
- Pit camera when you first load the track is inside the building (minor problem).
- The mountain is like 50% of the identity of the track, I know you planned to add it, but part of me feel it can't be a 1.0 version without it.
- Something is wrong with the track in the CM, I get a warning sign with no indication, it could come from the capitalized K in the files name maybe ? idk.

This might be a bit harsh since, after all, the track is ok to drive on, and pretty fun with rally oriented cars like the celica, but it would really improve the mod by a lot.

Yeah, maybe just a tad harsh. Especially since this is my first track ever and wanted to get something drive-able for lockdown.
