IMSA GTU Nissan "240SRX" 1.1

When I first heard about the 'Camping World SRX Series' and saw the sprint cars designed and built to compete in it, I couldn't shake the impression that the outward appearance of the design resembles a 'thiccened' version of the IMSA GTU Class Nissan 240SX racing cars campaigned by Bob Leitzinger in the golden era of the early 90s. A period in which Nissan dominated the American racing scene with its legendary Electramotive GTP ZX, Steve Millen's GTO 300ZX, and the Leitzinger's with their GTU 240SX.

Powered by an NA VG30 V6, the twin cars raced by the Leitzinger Racing team won the class championship four times in a row, from 1991-1994.

However, this is not really a 240SX, but instead a 2021 Ilmore powered 6.5L V8 sprint car.

The SRX is brutish, more for use on short or dirt tracks than international raceways (though it tries). So keep in mind that this is more a fun joke, than anything to be taken too seriously, as you've only got 2 gears to work with (best to fiddle with the large selection of diff ratios offered with the cars tuning setup, provided by author Perendinator).

So whether you want to add some weird unusual flair to your otherwise grey grid of SRX Series cars, or need some sort of bodged replica of a GTU 240SX for your retro IMSA grid (someone please model one ;) ), this skin might be for you!
