INSTALLATION:
-UNPACK DATA OF THE CAR IN CONTENT MANAGER (TAB CONTENT/CARS SEARCH "VRC FORMULA NORTH"
-THEN PASTE THE FILES IN THE 'DATA TO PASTE' FOLDER INTO THIS DATA FOLDER WHICH IS IN THE MAIN
CAR FOLDER.
-THEN PACK AGAIN (BUTTON BESIDE UNPACK DATA).
-PASTE THE FILES IN THE EXTENSION FOLDER IN THE SAME EXTENSION FOLDER FROM THE CAR FOLDER.
-BIND A KEY FOR MGU-K MAP CHANGE (INCREASE OR DECREASE)
As you all must know, Indycar has introduced its new hybrid engine in mid-season which is capable of giving up to 60bhp, 120bhp in total including the P2P. And today I bring it for Assetto Corsa, from the help of Cathay.
This new system has a limit of 600 kiloJoules per lap. Actually it is 375 kJ, but we have put 600 kJ to avoid the variation of each circuit, as this number will change in each official round.
The mode of use is simple. Just press the key to, for example, increase MGU-K map. Since there are only two maps, even if you increase or decrease, they will only alternate.
It is obvious that the mod is still very primitive given the limitation of the AC itself, but it gives some idea of the new Indycar era. The performance has been changed up to -0.6s only with ERS, and ~-1.5s with ERS+ P2P.
Any feedback or suggestions that can help the mod is very welcome. Do it in the discussion thread or send me a private message in such a case. And as always, do a backup of the originals data.acd and ext_config.ini to go back to the original car when you don't want this. Or just reinstall them from the original .rar
