Hey everyone!
Description
Here's my AI racing lines and hints for the Guangdong International Circuit. This is part of my efforts to take a look at regional tracks that could benefit from AI improvements.
The AI will take corners smoother, which gains them plenty of laptime. Sidelines were further adjusted to discourage pit maneuvers. Pit lane has been realigned so that they no longer cut the white lines; the original was questionable by stewarding standards. There's room for improvement for the pitlane entry, however - sometimes 2 go into 1 and they'll tangle. Well.
Track: guangdong v1.03 (by Paulmarc, LRAC, WestLin)
Note: These AI lines may not work for future versions. I'm aware there's a Foxeway pit extension - these lines should work just fine but its untested. You'll have to copy and paste the ai + data folders yourself.
How to Install
Tested on:
CSP Version: 0.24-preview1
CSP > New AI Behaviour: Active
AI Strength: 94 - 100
AI Aggression : 15% - 25%
Cars:
Let me know if you encounter any issues or want me to take a look at other tracks. Next up, I'll likely take a look at Shanghai.

How to Install
- (Optional) Backup the existing AI files by renaming them with a .bak extension. (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks\guangdong\ai\)
- Delete any pre-existing payload.bin files in the "ai" folder.
- Go back one directory up and go into the "data" folder (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\tracks\guangdong\data\).
- Rename the existing side_l.csv and side_r.csv with a ".bak" extension - this is to prevent AC from overwriting the pre-baked sidelines.
- Extract the contents of the .7zip file.
- Copy the "content" folder and paste it into your AC installation folder (i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa).
- Replace files when requested.
