Great job GTR233, this is a really well optimised version, i had the versin 1.0 from "the sky and neel jani" but i get so many more FPS on this one, its fantastic and flows greatly. Thanks a lot for your work and thanks to share it with us :)

5/5 Exceptional. Closest thing to a free roam GTR2 has, I guess. Good graphics, love the close trackside objects and even overhanging trees, really adds to the immersion and sense of speed. Lots of gaps in the terrain textures when you look off to the side and far away but what is here is exceptional.

Thank you! Very nice work. Finally one of the best tracks works for me again. This is a huge challenge and I wonder who makes this with no crash at all plus a decent time. ;-) One question remains: In the "pits" does that lil sandroad where cars head out for the track have to be so very bumpy and barely driveable!? Imo that would be nice to be improved as well.

Yes I spent a full week to adjust AI and check accidents at each corner : there were critical corners mainly due to barriers hit by AI so I have chosen to make collision false at these spots and now AI can pass a full lap. The only drawback is to see AI going through barriers when you follow them, it looks weird but that's the price to pay.
Yes pit "road" is really bumpy but I can't change that, just drive slowly till pit exit.

Hi alex, unfortunately I can't do much, indeed AIW GPL is the heavier version so if it does not work then try the other versions : HISTORIC is a bit lighter, and REGULAR (this is the one I recommend) is the lightest with better FPS and lower memory usage.
You can try to set graphic settings on LOW before launching the AIW GPL, I hope that will help you to run it.
