I cant seem to get it installed either, same problem with winzip it just says corrupt file GRRR! please help someone?

The archives won't open, even with the latest 7-zip. Can you create a proper archive that is not corrupted?

Put 5 stars because I loved it when I first installed it. Now I had to delete the game so I wanted to reinstall this but says the zip file is corrupted when I try to open it...

On overview page of each part I wrote the MD5 CHECKSUM of each part so you can check and compare file integrity with any hash tool (I use hashtab : when installed right mouse click on any file then left mouse click on hash tab, you can copy-paste hash and if file is a clone then a green check will be prompted. You can customize hash settings to show CRC32/MD5/SH256...)

Patch is a huge improvement in terms of graphics, I could say that now I have beta version of ACC.
But, there is a problem - Porsche Biturbo and Cup car, Viper CC and Mosler, have wrong laptime and fuel position on cockpit LCD... I mean, laptime is overlapping the gear, it simply doesn't look like on your screenshots. I'm sure I installed eveyrthing correctly, because other 24H cars (BMW, Vertigo, Corvette, Lotus) don't have any issue.

Please post screenshots in discussion thread : do you speak about stock content or a mod like fia gt 2008 that you added afterward ? It is written in readme that few extra mods like fia gt 2008 or porsche cup miss a lcd BMP file which lead to corrupted LCD. In this case the solution is detailed in readme to add missing FNTCMOT BMP inside XXXCPIT.GTR of faulty LCD cars : all you need is the BMP and Geditor, both are provided within _OPTIONS_ folder.

Thank you so much. Downloading v16 now. The 10 year anniversary patch was amazing. I love this game and am so pleased you talented and dedicated people keep improving this brilliant game that revolutionised SIM racing. GTR2 Forever :)

Unable to either "open" any of the three separate 7-zip files (one file for each patch) or extract them. Error messages pop up: "Cannot open the files."
When I right click on the files and use 7-zip to extract them to my GTR game directory, the file size of the game directory remains the same -- proving that the extraction process did not function for some reason.

It would be nice if someone made a video (youtube or otherwise) or very detailed step-by-step instructions as to exactly how to use these patches and exactly every step needed to copy/extract and everything else to get the game running using these anniversary edition patches.

I have googled this and I have also tried extracting the patches first to my Steam GTR directory. This resulted in the Steam game crashing.
I then archived extracted my Steam GTR game to my root harddrive directory (C: GTR) and tried extracting the patches there. This also didn't work; the extraction process didn't work...

IT IS CLEARLY WRITTEN TO NEVER MODIFY ORIGINAL STEAM FOLDER BUT TO MAKE A COPY OF STEAM GTR2 DIRECTLY AT THE ROOT OF ONE OF YOUR DRIVES.

ONLY 001 ARCHIVE CAN BE OPENED BY USER, INDEED 002/003 PARTS ARE REQUIRED TOGETHER BUT ONLY USED BY ARCHIVER DURING EXTRACTION OF 001.

Merci à toi pour le commentaire :) La prochaine mise à jour 16.1 ira encore plus loin dans le réalisme avec les salissures sur les carrosseries qui s'accumulent tour après tour (cracra max après 8 tours) pour les saisons hq 2003-2005

Hi Thanks for all the GTR2 HQ patches.

With latest patch v16 i can not get the map to work, using option 3 map plus xd, xd works but no map, On another install of GTR3 with HQ patch v15.1.1 the map works, any help to get map to work please with V16.

A new v16.1 is coming next week and I will check if map is working : do you use my PLAYER PLR or you own ? Because map plugin requires write shared memory to be enabled in PLR.

Great patch, keeps the old cars and tracks and add updated cars and tracks with new setup options. This makes a old sim feels like a new one again.

It's a 3 star for now since I'd like to be able to drive without feeling like I'm destroting my wheelbase ... here's my problem:
I have a CSW 2.5, and I set the FFB settings for CSW 2.5 in the installation thing. But, It's basically impossible for me to drive as my wheel goes absolutely nuts, it goes very abruptly from left to right, it even tries to get away from me when I drive. It'll abruptly move where it wants to in a big "clonc" sound and feel.
I tried de-activating the FFB option and run the "0" one instead but still the same problem occurs. And I am running the recommended settings in my Fanatec menu aswell.
Could you help me please ?

But keep in mind that it is fixed only for my mod, any other mod you will add can do that if ffb multiplier is above 1.0 in hdc

To be honest never raced GTR2 in it's native form so can't compare but what I can is, with this HQ Anniversary patch it's more or less on par with Assetto. Dunno why new software doesn't use features from older software - high rez real imagery backgrounds for example make it look far more real as does the photo spectators which to me, if done right, looks much better than 3D looking cartoon spectators. Great mod and a big thanks!
