nice, but first-person camera mode rotates right & left when turning, it's very annoying. as I recall, the original version of this game had no problems with first-person camera

No it is not due to 10th Anniversary Patch (it fixes bugs and doesn't add new ones LOL), you have simply enabled this option in menu : OPTIONS >> ADVANCED >> APEX : KEEP SLIDER OFF AT 0% and your head will not follow apex (head turns left/right) when turning steering wheel.

V10.2 is the new and last version (no more empty archive). You need 7zip v19.00 at least to open archive.

No there are no optional backgrounds, that is just the name of the file used in UI.

I really like this patch but theres a few thing that I have problems with. First, In a race I founded out that AI cars would frequently ram the butt of other cars at the PIT station causing traffic slowdown. They never try to stop as if there not looking at their front. Second, why are some cars lagging during replays. A big fps drop and cause my game to crash to desktop. I have quite decent processor card. Mine is INTEL CORE i5; 8th Gen and NVIDIA MX130. All updated. Third, I have flickering car skins. All my graphic settings are set to medium with antiliasing level 4. I usually set it to full but then it lags sometimes. Forth, I installed XD plugins with maps plugin and I don't have the maps during game.

I have updated the AI in HQ tracks and stock GTR2 talents so they are less aggressive but these tweaks will not work with 3rd party cars/tracks you add : for this I suggest you Shovas Sho competition mod. You must enable multicores on your cpu with tool lile process lasso in order to increase fps.

Are you kidding ??? 3 years of work to reach v10.0, more than 1000 downloads in last 3 months for this v10.0 : IT IS NOT DUE TO MY MOD !!! YOUR BUG COMES FROM ANOTHER MOD YOU HAVE INSTALLED : DO A FRESH INSTALL OF GTR2 + 10th Anniversary Patch ONLY and YOU WILL SEE BY YOURSELF THAT HQ CARS DO NOT JUMP : stock cars and any other 3rd party cars are not modified by 10th Anniversary Patch !!!!
