This method uses GTR2 Championship Manager v1.62
1. download and install https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/gtr2-championship-manager-v1_62-by-jjmaneschijn.23112/
2. copy and paste attach files in 'gt legends' folder
3. After running GTR2 Championship Manager, set the location to the root folder of GT Legends/GameData.
4. Create and save a custom championship
5. The championship you created will be created in "GT Legends\GameData\Championships\Custom".
6. Open both the championship you created and the already created 'My New Championship.gdb' in 'GT Legends\GameData' with notepad.
7. As shown in the picture, change the red data of 'My New Championship.gdb' in 'GT Legends\GameData' to the blue data of the championship you created and save it.
8. When you run the game, the championship you created will appear in the 'custom championship.'
